DPHS Dance Magnet

welcome from the

Dance Magnet President

Hello and welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! I am so incredibly excited and grateful to be your Dance Magnet President for the year, and experiment in the Laboratory of Dance with you all!

Over the past few years, this program has not only shaped me as a dancer but has also given me a second family, support, and unforgettable experiences. As Dance Magnet President, it would be my honor to lead, encourage, and be there for all dancers in the program. I hope to strengthen our unity, celebrate every dancer’s individuality, and help maintain the sacred space which we can call our studio. As dancers in this program, we are provided with numerous experiences and opportunities, and I encourage every dancer to dive in and try your best in all that you do. There is genuinely no judgement here, and it is so important to remember that nobody is perfect! During your time in this program, I ask for you to put your heart into all that you do, embrace your truest self, expand your horizons, and most importantly, let’s have some fun!

The theme for this year is “The Dance Laboratory,” and to me this means experimentation, creativity, expression, and fearless exploration! Much like scientists in a laboratory, we will test new ideas, push boundaries, and discover what is possible when passion meets innovation. Whether you need support or just someone to cheer you on, I’m here for all of you, and am so excited to see what we can accomplish this year!

welcome from the

Dance Magnet NHSDA President

Welcome dancers to the 2025-2026 school year! I am beyond honored to be your NHSDA President, and I am so excited for this upcoming school year to begin! As we start this journey together, my vision for NHSDA is one of growth, collaboration, and artistic exploration. By being your NHSDA President, I aim to create more community service opportunities for everyone to connect and develop skills through workshops, performances, and community outreach programs. Dancers are expected to participate all year, whether inducted or not. I encourage everyone to actively participate in our upcoming events and to take advantage of every opportunity provided to expand your growth as artists. I am looking forward to seeing everyone take risks, collaborate with each other, and experiment in your own laboratory.

Each and every one of you is what makes NHSDA so special and I want to remind you all to soak up every moment of this year. Always remember to share your passion for dance, dance from the heart, and let your love for dance show each and every day. I cannot wait to experiment with you all this year!
